Jane Sanderson Backpack Program of the Oscoda Area Schools Fund
"To combat student hunger by providing nutritious, easy-to-prepare food to students over the weekends and school breaks, ensuring they arrive at school healthy, focused and ready to learn."
Help Feed a Child by Supporting the Jane Sanderson Backpack program of the Oscoda Area Schools Fund. For $150 we can provide meals for weekends and school break days to a child for the entire school year.
The Oscoda Education Opportunity Foundation has Partnered with the Oscoda Area Schools to to help this Fund grow so we can continue this program. Donations will come to the Oscoda Education Opportunity Foundation and then will go to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. Other than changing who checks are made out to, there is no difference in this program. Our faithful volunteers are all the same so there will be no interruption in the program.
